Remarkable Herbs is a company that sells various botanicals, Kratom being the primary. They are certified by the American Kratom Association, so, we know that their products are safe for consumption. 

I ordered a few different strains, and I’ll eventually review all of them, but the first one I want to talk about is their Green Vein Indo. 

Remarkable Herbs Green Vein Indo Kratom Powder details:

• Available in 1 oz, 3 oz, and 8 oz sizes
• All-natural Kratom powder
• Mitragynine content as printed on the product packaging is 1105.65 mg
• 7-Hydroxymitragynine content as printed on the product packaging 42.53 mg

Overall Product Quality

Green Indo is not a strain that I use regularly. Not because I don’t enjoy it, though. I just have other strains that work better for me. My go-to green strain is Green Maeng Da or Green Sumatra, but I substitute those with Green Indo or Green Bali on occasion. I really enjoy the serene, yet refreshing feeling that these green strains provide. It’s great for busy days or sparking creativity.

Geek Note: Substituting Green Vein strains with OTHER Green Vein strains is ideal because they’ll have corresponding effects, but the variation of the alkaloid profiles will hit different receptors – creating a fresh experience.

Upon opening the package, the powder smelt fresh. I took one full teaspoon  (approximately 2 grams). The taste was remarkably (LOL not intended to be a pun) bitter. Kratom is always bitter, some batches can be worse than others. I took a couple of extra swigs of my pineapple juice to wash it down and it helped a lot.

I waited about 30 minutes but unfortunately, I didn’t feel anything substantial. No energy at all. No feelings of discomfort relief from it either. In my past experiences, I usually get some sort of mild stimulation (mental or physical) from Green Indo. 

The only thing I noted was elevated calmness and contentment. My mind was chill. However, I will acknowledge that I wasn’t in a bad mood beforehand, so, that may have just been a coincidence. I felt like I was missing something. Maybe a bigger serving? 

About 5 hours later, I tried it again (this time at 2 teaspoons) and I still felt nothing substantial. 

So, I decided to give the remainder of my 3oz bag to a friend to see if he could get some use out of it. He reported back to me and said…

“It’s not very strong Kratom. Didn’t get energy but it helped with my knee the first time I had some. I took more yesterday and same… I don’t know. Not bad but not good. Haha.”

The Final Verdict

Unfortunately, the best way to describe my experience with the Green Vein Indo from Remarkable Herbs is “underwhelming”. The effects were lackluster. I wanted a grand and stimulating experience. My friend who I let try the Green Indo from Remarkable Herbs felt pretty much the same. 

It’s okay – I only paid like $20 for the 3 oz bag so I wasn’t expecting it to be mind-blowingly good or anything. 

On a positive note, I love how Remarkable Herbs includes the alkaloid content for all of their strains right on the packaging. I hope more companies start doing this for their Kratom powder too.
