A couple of months ago, I reviewed the MIT45 Gold Liquid Kratom Extract Tincture. Follow the link to read the full article and hear my thoughts. 

When I bought the tincture, I also purchased a couple of these “travel” versions. I’m always down to try something easy and convenient. 

What is the “Go Boldly” Kratom Extract product line all about?

This is essentially their standard MIT45 Kratom Extract, but with added flavoring and it’s packaged in a pouch instead of the bottle. The “Go Boldly” is a reference to using this product on the go.

Overall Product Quality

The packaging is nice and simple. I took one packet with warm water on an empty stomach. Taking Kratom Extract on an empty stomach really makes a big difference. The consistency of the extract is pretty thick (like syrup). Warm water helped it dissolve efficiently.

Right off the bat, I noticed that the taste is strangely familiar. The combined flavors of citrus, honey, and the bitter/earthy Kratom extract makes it taste (and smell) like… Theraflu! Granted, it’s slightly sweeter than Theraflu, but it does have that “herbal medicine” type of taste to it. It gave me flashbacks to being sick with the flu, but honestly, it was much better tasting than other extracts I’ve tried. 

I wasn’t excepting much (effects-wise), but I’m pleased to say that this little pouch packed a punch! I felt the effects about 10 minutes after taking it. It was a good little pick-me-up – smooth and uplifting. I was able to remain intently focused on my work for about an hour, but the effects wore off rather quickly. 

The Final Verdict

Overall, I’m impressed with the quality of this product from MIT45. The flavor and effectiveness were on point. Depending on your tolerance level, these are decent in potency. A big downside is that the effects wear off fast.

These would be great to bring with you on a weekend camping trip. They can easily fit in your pocket or travel bag without occupying much space. Plus, there’s no mess involved. Just rip it open and drink it down – minimal trash to dispose of!

As much as I LOVE convenient Kratom products, I’m also very frugal. The price of these isn’t terrible, but it’s not great either. It costs less than your average bottled extract… only by a couple of dollars, though. I couldn’t afford to use these every single day. Instead, it would be more of a treat for special occasions. Kratom Powder is much more cost-effective in the long run. 

Ironically, I enjoyed this product more than the full-size bottled MIT45 shots. However, I still prefer the Gold and Black Liquid Extracts by OPMS or the Sour Apple Kratom Extract shot by Happy Hippo (reviews on these coming soon).
